1950s Ted Williams George Burke & George Brace Photo Collection (4) w/1939 Rookie Image (PSA Type II)

1950s Ted Williams George Burke & George Brace Photo Collection (4) w/1939 Rookie Image (PSA Type II)

Assortment of four posed photos of Boston Red Sox legend Ted Williams, taken by the photographic tandem of George Burke and George Brace. Each roughly 5x6.5" shot depicts the Hall of Famer in similar pose, in follow through of his swing; each, also, looks to have been taken at Comiskey Park, as the Splendid Splinter is wearing his road uniform and would seem likely as both Burke and his assistant, Brace, lived in the Chicago area. At least one of these photos is from his rookie year of 1939; these are all reprints circa 1950s, though the photos were taken earlier. Each is individually encapsulated PSA Type II.
