1950’s Vaccumatic Baseball Card Vending Machine
Great old card dispenser used to dispense exhibit cards bearing facsimile signatures from the most popular stars. Machine is wood with a large glass front which displays, “Autographed Film Stars Assorted Popular Picture Cards 2 [cents] Buy a full set – Decorate your den or playroom” (printed on paper behind the glass). 20 pictures of stars, also in display window, include Banks, Newcomb, Kluzewski, Williams, Mantle, Clemente, Musial, Boyer, & N. Fox. Translucent pink sign on top reads “Exhibit Vaccumatic Card Vender”. Machine stands 36” tall (42.5” to top of pink plastic sign), 23” wide & 17” deep. No restoration. Wood painted brown & yellow, chipped on top. Sides and front are comparatively unchipped. VG-EX.
