1950s/60s SF 49ers NFL Football Original Negatives (60+)
This collection of 1950's and 1960's era negatives feature in game action of the San Francisco 49ers battling on the field against a variety of other teams. There are (45+) 4 x 5" negatives, (6) which capture a September, 1954 match-up with the Redskins, (28) from an October,1960 match-up with the Chicago Bears and (15) from a November, 1960 game against the Detroit Lions. There are (24) 35mm negatives which capture a 49er scrimmage. The condition and quality of the entire collection rates EX and as part of the S.F. Examiner file photos some include documentation stating who the images capture.
