1951 Detroit Tigers Leather and Satin Jacket Worn by Dick Bartell
Leather and satin second skin was created with those windy autumn nights at Briggs Stadium in mind. Worn by All Star short stop Rick "Rowdy Richard" Bartell the season after he had arrived in Detroit, just in time to give the Tigers the late pennant push they so needed. Sewn with the team's "D" logo on the front left breast, and manufacturer's tagging on the collar from Wilson is joined by [size] "44" and "Dry Clean Only" flag tags. above the hem on the jacket's zipper facing is a felt plate chain-stitched with his number "28". Great overall use is visible throughout.
