1951 Jackie Robinson Signed Letter (PSA GEM MINT 10)
One-page typed letter, dated May 26, 1951, signed by Jackie Robinson. PSA has encapsulated the letter and graded the signature GEM MINT 10. In his letter, written on his personal letterhead to a Mrs. Lulu Wallace, Robinson congratulates her on the birth of her son and namesake. In full: "I received your letter and I wish to congratulate you on the birth of your son Jackie Robinson. I hope he will grow up to be a fine man, and may he give you much joy. My very best wishes to you." Signed "Jackie Robinson" in black fountain pen. The letter (7.25x10.5") displays two horizontal folds, along the ends of which are a few small tears, small creases, and light staining. Also accompanied by a full LOA from JSA.
