1951 National League All Star Team Signed Baseball
The 1951 All Star Game represented the second victory in a row for the National League, the first time in the history of the mid-summer classic that the senior circuit won two consecutive games. Presented is a beautiful Official American League baseball (William Harridge, President) filled with thirty (30) boldly scripted fountain pen signatures. Roy Campanella, Jackie Robinson, Gil Hodges, Ralph Kiner, Warren Spahn, Pee Wee Reese, Duke Snider, Stan Musial, Bennie Bengough, Robin Roberts, and many more greats have all penned their names on the ball in Near Mint to Mint (NM-Mint) or better ink. In addition, the wording, "National League 1951", as well as the final score of the game ("Natl's 8 Amer 3"), has been neatly printed on the sweet spot of the ball. The offered relic, which originates from Bennie Bengough estate, shows a faint hint of soiling, but remains in overall Near Mint (NM) condition.
