1951 New York Yankees Team Signed Baseball From Casey Stengel Estate
Lightly shellacked OAL (Harridge) baseball emanates directly from Casey Stengel's estate. Contains 25 black ink signatures including Mantle, Stengel (signed twice), Berra, Rizzuto, DiMaggio (sweet spot), & McDougald. A memorable World Series match-up between two New York teams, the Yankees and Giants. Rookie-of-the-Year, Gil McDougald became the first rookie in history to hit a grand slam in the World Series as the mighty Yankee dynasty collected its third straight World Championship. Ball is EX-MT with a light brown patina. Stengel's number "37" is written on top of "Reach" stamp.
