1952 Bowman Baseball Uncut Sheet w/ Willie Mays

1952 Bowman Baseball Uncut Sheet w/ Willie Mays

Important 1952 Bowman uncut sheet, 4 x 9, with 36 total cards. The most important player in the history of American baseball, the great Willie Mays, highlights it. The iron-willed Say Hey Kid was in just his second season in the Majors when this was printed. Other highlights include Stengel, Slaughter, and Crosetti (3 Yankees total on sheet). 10 out of 36 cards have light creases and sheet is torn in upper right and left corners (Stengel & Wilbur). Tiny piece torn from John Schmoltz (2nd card from top right). Scotch tape mark 5 cards in from the left on the top row (Lou Crotlow). Lower portion of the sheet on verso has sustained paper loss due to being previously mounted. VG to VG-EX. A great piece of history from the Bowman gum card company.
