1952 Brooklyn Dodgers Star-Cal Decal Display with Jackie Robinson
One of the more obscure regional issues of the fifties, presented is a 1952 Star-Cal Decal collection of Brooklyn greats including Jackie Robinson. The decal envelopes are affixed to a 22x28" backing with all actual decals in Near Mint to Mint condition with blazing colors, a poignant caption, and absent of creases or bends. Arranged in a circular style, the valuable Jackie Robinson individual decal is in the center, surrounded by other individual decals of Duke Snider (top) and clockwise from there: Don Newcombe, Campanella, Pee Wee Reese and Preacher Roe, with the two dual decals of Snider/Roe and Campanella/Robinson on each side of the bottom. Finally, a “cut down the middle” dual decal of Hodges/Reese provide symmetry up top. The envelopes which house the decals remain unopened and reveal minimal wear (except for the cut envelope), but the winner should expect some paper loss to the envelope reverse if they were removed. This is an amazing Brooklyn Dodgers item, the perfect display piece ready for professional matting and framing, a perfect display accessory for "Da Bums" fan who wants to have it all.
