1952 Cincinnati Reds Game Worn Jersey

1952 Cincinnati Reds Game Worn Jersey

Gorgeous early-fifties gamer was worn by shortstop Virgil Stallcup during the campaign of '52. "Cincinnati" crosses the front in red felt, with his number "10" holding court on the verso in a red-on-blue double-layer style. Inside the collar is a "MacGregor-Golsmith size 42" manufacturer's tag and a felt nameplate chain-stitched wth, "Stallcup". The final flag tag, inside the front tail, reads, "Set 1 1952" flag tag sewn inside front tail. The jersey exhibits superior use but has remained in wonderful display condition, and is missing only it's bottom button. Furthermore, there appears to have been a number change, formerly an "18", probably done prior the regular season.
