1952 Detroit Lions World Championship NFL Wristwatch in Original Box
Presented to players after the Detroit Lions won their second NFL championship after beating the Los Angeles Rams in a tiebreaker, these great timepieces were made by one of the finest and oldest Swiss watchmakers in the world. Instead of numbers around the face, this Longines watch spells D-E-T-R-O-I-T L-I-O-N-S, "Longines 1952 World Champions" and "National Football League" in the center. The band is marked "Speidel Stainless Steel" which was in style during the 1950s and 1960s. The wristwatch may be running slow, but is running and otherwise in NRMT condition in the original elegant looking leather-like maroon box with gold-gilded trim, as well as with the factory guarantee.
