1952 Jackie Robinson "Turns Two" Photograph (PSA Type I)
Original Type I photograph capturing Jackie Robinson as he turns a double play against the New York Yankees in the 1952 Mayor's Trophy Game at Yankee Stadium. As noted by the original paper news caption (dated "7-21-52") on the reverse, the runner is Gil McDougald and the Yankees won the game 5-3. (The Mayor's Trophy Game was an annual in-season exhibition game played between New York City's Major League teams, with the proceeds going to charitable causes.) An International News Photo" credit stamp appears on the reverse. The photo (9x7") displays light-to-moderate creasing. PSA encapsulated as Type I Authentic.
