1952 Marilyn Monroe Baseball Trophy
This fascinating baseball trophy has a nameplate reading "Marilyn Monroe / Champs '52" and a circular plate above with the names of unknown players listed. The best guess that can be wagered is that this trophy was awarded during a movie studio (likely 20th Century Fox) baseball league tournament or exhibition game in which Marilyn Monroe was an honorary captain. The 15" trophy is in EX condition with modest wear-and-tear on the two flanking gold baseballs, but otherwise has no significant damage.
