1952 Paul Waner Hall of Fame Induction Plaque
One of a kind version of Paul Waner's plaque hanging in the National Baseball Fame in Cooperstown was presented to Paul and Paul alone Attractive and immensely desirable award features attractive gold lettering at bottom of leather matting reading, “National Baseball Hall of Fame Cooperstown, N.Y.” There is some slight water damage there at the bottom of matting otherwise EX-MT. Measures 10x13” and originally came from Paul "Big Poison" Waner's wife. He did NOT we hear refer to her as Little Poison, as that nickname was already taken by his Hall of Fame brother Lloyd.The other half of the Waner brothers Hall of Fame tandem, he had a majestic career with his 1927 Most Valuable Player Award, as a four time All Star including the first year (1933), was a three time batting champion, and batted an incredible .333. That means one hit out of every three times at bat over a 20-year career. That is why this very plaque exists and why it is here.
