1952 TED WILLIAMS DAY Program & Rare Ticket Stub
This rare trio of items is from the April 30, 1952 game at Fenway Park at which was held a special Ted Williams Day in honor of Williams' return from Korea. The game was between the Detroit Tigers and the Boston Red Sox. This lot includes the game program, the rare additional illustrated program cover showing Williams and, rarest of all, the game ticket stub, which we have never seen before. The program is unscored and NRMT, the cover is EX and the stub has some minor creasing.
