1953 Brooklyn Dodgers & New York Yankees Black Bats (2)

1953 Brooklyn Dodgers & New York Yankees Black Bats (2)

This almost pristine pair of Hillerich & Bradsby black bats is a handsome tribute to the 1953 Subway Series between the Brooklyn Dodgers and the New York Yankees. Both have similar stampings denoting the year and the team with the stamped facsimile signature or block letter name of all the baseball immortals that went into the building of these two teams (Yankees bat with 34 names, Dodgers bat with 31). Minimal wear, and the gold paint used in the stampings is 99% intact. Each bat measures 35” and adheres precisely to H&B specifications. EX-MT condition. In one of their seven World Series meetings, the Brooklyn Dodgers and the New York Yankees faced off for another thriller. The mighty Bombers would take the championship in 6 games with Billy Martin’s WS record-breaking 12th hit.
