1953 Donald Duck "Canvas Back Duck" One-Sheet

1953 Donald Duck "Canvas Back Duck" One-Sheet

Great cross-over, Disney and Sports. Colorful poster for the 1953 release. In this 7 minute short, Donald and his nephews are visiting a carnival. After Donald scores a relatively high score on a strength test, Chauncey the Dog, disguised as a little boy, cons Donald, with a $500 prize at stake for one who can last 3 rounds, into boxing his "uncle", actually the really LARGE Peewee Pete. Breaking the norm, this time Donald's nephews are on his side and warn him about the con, but it's too late. Unfortunately for Donald, the film's title refers to the canvas that awaits a boxer's back when he is knocked down. On linen and framed and matted. Appears NRMT with just minimal coloring in at the fold lines. It would be hard to find a nicer example.
