1953 James Dean Triple Signed Bank Check
American Big Screen actor that died tragically at the age of 24 during a high speed traffic accident. Original check, written and signed by James Dean in three separate places. The check is a mustard-yellow color check with a brown border. Issued from The Chase National Bank of the City of New York with the address reading Rockefeller Center branch, Rockefeller Plaza New York”. The date written in is “Dec. 14, 1953”. “Pay to the order of James Dean” for the amount of $10.00 Signed by James Dean. Cleared by the bank with the date cashed “121453 CNB 38” embossed with perforated holes that go vertically across check. Perforated edging on left side where the check was torn out of his check book. Initialed on the bottom left corner. Finding a signed check is a treasure, a triple signed check is the find of a lifetime. EX-MT condition.
