1953 Rocky Marciano Bust
In 1953, Marciano retained the heavyweight title, knocking out Jersey Joe Walcott for a second time, but this time he didn’t wait for the 13th round. He took care of business in the 1st round, for his 44th straight victory. Maybe he had an appointment to pose for this bust? Bust and base together are 9-1/2” high and 4-1/4 X 4-1/4.” Bust is made of plaster and sits on a wooden platform. Under the back of the bust’s head it says “Iacocca” above “1953.” Overall condition is Excellent to Near Mint.
