Two of the greatest athletes in college sports history are the subject of these Syracuse University football and basketball programs featuring Jim Brown and Ernie Davis. Jim Brown basketball: 1) 2/16/55 vs. Cornell. 2) 1/4/56 vs. Cornell. Jim Brown football: 3-7) 1954: Villanova (first game), Holy Cross, Colgate, Illinois, Cornell. 8-12) 1955: Pittsburgh, Boston, Maryland, Army, Colgate. 13-16) 1956: Colgate, Boston, Holy Cross, Pittsburgh. (In the 1956 Colgate game, Brown ran for 196 yards and scored six touchdowns with an additional seven extra points, scoring 43 total points, an NCAA record that stood 40+ years.) Ernie Davis: 1) 10/17/59 vs. Holy Cross. 2) 11/7/59 vs. Penn State. 1959 was Ernie Davis' Heisman-winning season and Syracuse's National Championship season. Great history from the college careers of two of the very best, both of whom wore #44. Some have minor creasing to the binding and scores on cover, overall average is EX-MT condition.
