1954-60 Hank Aaron Game Used Hillerich & Bradsby Bat
Hammerin' Hank will be a nickname that will be even more crystal clear in meaning when your eyes gaze upon this awesome piece of lumber. The label tells us that it was from the 1950-60 era but we can narrow it down even further to 1959-60 based on the model, length and weight. In those two years Aaron hit a total of 79 homers and drove in 249, so this bat was used when Hank was really hammering. To be fair, he almost always was smashing the ball all over the place. The bat is 36" long and weighs in at 34 ounces. Model number "A96" is stamped on the knob. The use is absolutely incredible and amazingly the bat remains uncracked or deformed in any way. Early burnt in facsimile signature on the barrel is complimented by a NRMT autograph right above it in blue felt tip. Holding this bat you can't help but feel the history in it and think back upon the man who may have had the quickest wrists to ever play the game. If you are looking for one of the earliest and finest Aaron bats, look no further.
