1954 Boston Red Sox Team Signed Baseball with Harry Agganis
OAL (Harridge) baseball is Mint, with 25 blue ink signatures averaging a 9 out of a possible 10. Ted Williams (9 out of 10) on the sweet spot. Rare Harry Agganis signature on side panel. The “Golden Greek” was a star QB at Boston University and New England’s premier athlete from 1945-1955. He was brought up to the Majors after just one year in the Minors. The promising left-handed first baseman died of a pulmonary embolism in 1955 after playing only one full season. Ball itself is lightly toned.
