1954 Cleveland Indians American League Championship Tie Bar and Cufflink
With the fourth highest wins total in a single season, the 1954 Cleveland Indians finished with a 111-43 record and an American League Championship. This cuff link and tie bar tandem were awarded to team members and some team employees, but one of the cuff links is missing. On the tie bar, there is a bat that reads "American League Champions" as well as a baseball diamond reading "1954 Cleveland Indians." On the back of the tie bar reads the engraving "1954 All Time Record, 111 Games Won." The back of the cuff link reads "American League Champions, 1954 All Time Record 111 Games Won" engraved on the back. On both items, there are four rubies on each diamond signifying the three bases and home plate as well as the stamping LGB (Balfour) and 14k.
