Top Cleveland players in the regular 1954 season: Al Rosen hit .300 with 24 home runs and 102 RBIs. Hall of Famer Larry Doby, the Indians' first African-American player, hit .272, with 32 homers and 126 RBIs, and Bobby Avila batted .341. As for pitching, Early Wynn (HOF) went 23-11; Early Wynn (HOF) was 23-7, and Bob Feller (HOF) was 13-3.
