1954 Indiana State Basketball Championship Game Program
Basketball is a state religion in Indiana, and was accurately portrayed as such in the Gene Hackman hit film "Hoosiers" three decades ago. This extremely scarce program is from the historic March 20th, 1954, game held at the Butler University Field House documents the historic game between Milan (the team that inspired "Hoosiers") and Muncie for the title. The program includes team photos of the Final Four, including the Milan Indians, listed as the "people's choice." In Very Good condition and the only one we have ever handled.
