1954 Jackie Robinson Sliding Into Home Photograph (PSA Type I)
Original Type I photograph capturing Jackie Robinson sliding safely into home plate in a game against the Chicago Cubs at Ebbets Field in 1954. The original United Press Photo paper news caption (dated "7/27/54"), which describes the action, remains affixed to the reverse. This photo once resided in the collection of well-known sports reporter George Michael, and bears his hologram label on the reverse. The photo (9x7") displays a few tiny border imperfections and is otherwise in Excellent condition. PSA encapsulated as Type I Authentic.
