1954 Lee Meriwether Beauty Pageant Photo
This super-rare photograph from the San Francisco Examiner is of actress, model, and winner of the 1955 Miss America pageant Lee Meriwether. The photo ran May 24, 1954 and has the following notations on the back: "Miss San Francisco" (crossed out); "Miss Photo Contest Queen;" "Miss Lee Meriweather." The image that ran, along with its caption, is attached to the verso.
