1954 Marilyn Monroe Exits Car During Her Honeymoon in Tokyo Photograph - Secretarially Signed (PSA Type II)

Vintage photograph of Marilyn Monroe during her 1954 honeymoon trip to Japan. Monroe is pictured entering a car as an unidentified Japanese gentleman holds the door open for her. Monroe and Joe DiMaggio honeymooned in Japan following their marriage ceremony on January 14, 1954. After the honeymoon, Monroe traveled to Korea to entertain the US troops, while DiMaggio remained in Japan to run a series of baseball clinics (with Lefty O'Dooul) for the Japanese players. A secretarial inscription in blue ink that reads "Love + Kisses Marilyn Monroe" appears in the lower right quadrant. The photo (10x8") displays a few light surface wrinkles and is in Very Good to Excellent condition. Accompanied by a full LOA from PSA designating it as Type II Authentic.
