1954 NY Journal American Willie Mays contest card. The card has been graded and encapsulated by PSA NM-MT 8. The card measures 2x4" and was issued as a contest premium when purchasing a copy of the Journal American newspaper. This is the offer in black version with a contest number of 098566. The card has a rich creamy paper coloring with an image of a smiling Mays. All four corners remain razor sharp and the edges are very smooth. The card has near-perfect centering. The reverse is crisp and clean with a 1954 Giants Home schedule printed upon it. According to the PSA population report, this is a population of 7 with none higher.
