1954 Roberto Clemente Santurce Crabbers Photograph
A tremendous find and one of the best Clemente photos we have seen! Roberto sits with bat in hands in the sun-drenched Santurce dugout, beads of sweat on his brow and forearms. Stamped on the back by the San Juan newspaper, "El Imparcial." NRMT but for one staple hole at the top left corner. Even comes with the original letter from El Imparcial that was sent with the photo granting permission for reproduction. The letter is dated December 1, 1954.
