1955-57 Roger Maris Game Used Bat
Even during his 4 years in the Illinois-Indiana-Iowa League, Roger Maris dominated opposing pitchers, batting .303 with 78 homers. Here is an amazing, Roger Maris minor league relic: the earliest known, game used Maris model bat. This 35” H&B 016 model bat weighs 35 ounces and has “Maris” stamped on the barrel. This bat was cracked circa 1956 (it has since been repaired) by the baseball legend who would eventually set a single season home run record without the help of performance enhancing substances. He was the real deal!
