1955-59 Yogi Berra Game-Used Bat

1955-59 Yogi Berra Game-Used Bat

One of the freest swingers in baseball history, Yogi Berra rarely saw a pitch he didn't want to take a cut at. This 35" Hillerich & Bradsby ash bat that he swung between 1955 and 1959 weighs 31.7 ounces and has been repaired, with the finish having been restored. It shows solid use with numerous ball marks and stitch impressions, and still features some dried wood on the barrel end. The model R43 displays all the correct specs, and it has been PSA-graded a 7 as a result of the restoration and condition. Berra was one of the greatest characters the game has ever known, and the catcher assembled a Hall of Fame career that saw him bat .285 with 358 home runs and 1,430 RBI over his 19 seasons with the Yankees. He won 10 World Series rings as a player and three more as a coach. Comes with a PSA LOA.
