1955 American League Champion New York Yankees Team-Signed Baseball (PSA)
Presented is an Official American League Ball (Harridge) signed by (19) members of the 1955 New York Yankees, that season's AL Champions. That team, managed by Hall of Fame skipper Casey Stengel, had a regular season record of 96-58 and lost in the World Series to the Brooklyn Dodgers, 4-3 in games. On the '55 Yankees, Hall of Famer Mickey Mantle had a fine season, batting .306, with 37 home runs and 99 RBIs. Yogi Berra had 27 home runs and 108 RBIs. Hall of Famers signing: Stengel, Berra, Mantle, Phil Rizzuto, and Bill Dickey (coach). Notable signatures also include Jim Konstanty, Hank Bauer, Andy Carey, John Kucks, and Irv Noren. Stengel signed on the sweet spot and inscribed "New York Yankees." The signed team ball comes with a PSA/DNA LOA. The signatures are in blue ballpoint pen. The autographs are 7/10, and the ball is in EX-MINT condition.
