1955 Brooklyn Dodgers World Series Ring

1955 Brooklyn Dodgers World Series Ring

Brooklyn Dodger P.A. announcer “Tex” Rickard was a mainstay at home games played in Ebbet’s Field, and was awarded this outstanding 1955 Brooklyn Dodgers World Series ring in tribute to his long and loyal service. The ring is eye-catching and utterly awesome, and features a white diamond mounted on a silver diamond-shaped field upon a blue cabochon, encircled by “Brooklyn / World Champions”. “First” appears on one side of the ring, above a globe with “Dodgers” in script, with “1955” below. A baseball with “Tex” inscribed appears on the other side, over crossed bats, with the iconic Brooklyn “B” beneath. The size 10 ring is stamped “14 Karat / Dieges & Clust” on the inside. A tiny chip is barely visible on the cabochon, but this incredible ring easily rates an overall grade of NRMT. A Letter of Authenticity from an earlier sale accompanies the ring. Dodgers items of this importance - and which date from the most magical year of all - rarely come along.
