1955 Carl Erskine Game Used World Series Bat
A Dodger from beginning to end, and from Brooklyn to LA, right-hander Carl Erskine was a rotation staple for five pennant-winning clubs, including that fabled 1955 World Championship team. This Hillerich and Bradsby model K55 bat is a specialty as it was constructed especially for Erskine to use in that 1955 World Series, during which he ironically only had one plate appearance as he only pitched three innings against the rival Yankees. The 34.5"-long bat is uncracked with moderate use and is stamped on the barrel: "WORLD SERIES 1955, ERSKINE, BROOKLYN DODGERS," all in block lettering. Comes with an LOA signed by the pitcher and stating that he used this bat in the 1955 Series.
