1955 Fort Wayne Zollner Pistons Autograph Book
Long before they played in Auburn Hills, the Detroit Pistons were known as the Fort Wayne and Zollner Pistons from their early pre-NBA NBL days in Indiana. This autograph book from the 1954-55 season contains roughly a dozen signatures from the team that came within an eyelash of winning the NBA title, blowing a 17-point lead in bowing to the Syracuse Nats, 92-91. The names contained inside the leather-bound book include: Don Bielke, Corky Devlin, Larry Foust, John Horan, Bob Houbregs, Mel Hutchins, Chuck Noble, Odie Spears, George Yardley, Max Zaslofsky, Hillard Gates, Charley Eckman and Andy Phillip. The 5.5x4.5" book is in EX condition.
