1955 Kahn's Cincinnati Reds Complete Set (6)
As dubious as it may sound to have one's photo listed above the words: "THE WIENER THE WORLD AWAITED," this collection of Cincinnati Reds photo cards from the first Kahn's Wieners issue is surely valuable. Six Reds stars are pictured not in uniform but dressed in their civilian clothing. The blank-backed cards are glossy on the front and feature Ted Kluszewski (VG), Johnny Templeton (VG-EX), Gus Bell (EX), Joe Nuxhall (VG with a slight stain on the back), Wally Post (EX-MT) and Roy McMillian (VG-EX). The set comes with an 8x10" photo of a Reds player at the Kahn's factory holding various, er, meats.
