1955 New York Yankees Team Signed World Series Bat

1955 New York Yankees Team Signed World Series Bat

We need not say how tough it is to find a Yankees signed bat from this era. This Hillerich and Bradsby Louisville Slugger was made for use by Yankees pitcher Rip Coleman in the 1955 World Series. Coleman took the bat and had his teammates sign the barrel in 6 to 7/10 black fountain ink. Signatures are Mantle, Carey, Martin, Wicker, Morgan, Rizzuto, Silvera, Berra, Turley, Howard, Bauer, Cerv, Skowron, Dickey, Turner and McDougald. The 34 oz., 35" K55 model bat shows little or no use and comes directly from the Coleman family.
