1955 New York Yankees vs. Brooklyn Dodgers World Series Pennant
One for old-time Brooklynites who still collect mementos of THE World Series - a rare felt pennant from the 1955 Fall Classic that ended with celebration along Flatbush Avenue. The highly detailed, navy flag splits its space with cartoon stadium graphics, along with manager and team names, as well as a crude World Series logo. A gold-braid and feathery red string adorn the left border in place of standard tassels. The pennant measures 29 inches in length and displays light wear, including a small clip to one of the two tips. Otherwise In NM condition with no creases or holes.
