The official National League(Giles) ball is signed in blue ink by the following 23 team members:Robinson, Koufax, Campanella, Alston (Mgr., ss), Amoros (ss), Furillo,Walker, Howell, Reese (clubhouse signature), Snider (clubhousesignature), Labine, Spooner, Gilliam, Black, Wojey, Roebuck, Kellert,Erskine, Zimmer, Shuba, Newcombe, Hamric, and Bessent. Signaturesaverage 7/10. Excellent to Mint condition overall. Pete Wojey did notmake the team in 1955, which indicates that this ball was most likelysigned during Spring Training. 1955 marked the Dodgers' only WorldChampionship season while in Brooklyn, making this one of the mostsignificant keepsakes from that memorable season.
