1955 World Series Game 7 Full Unused Ticket
It seemed inevitable that the Bums from Brooklyn would lose. They always lost. They certainly never beat the mighty Yankees. It was Game 7 of the World Series and Brooklyn had to get through the Yankees to win it. It was when the term "Subway Series" was born. Johnny Podres was given the assignment to pitch to the Yankees. For what he did that day, no Dodger should ever be more revered than him. He merely went the distance, shutting out the Yankees, and bringing Brooklyn their first World Championship. Here is a FULL ticket from Game Seven of the 1955 Series. This is one of the rarest full World Series tickets to find, probably because who would be crazy enough NOT to attend this tilt. Excellent condition overall.
