1956 Boston Celtics Autograph Book (PSA)
Boston Celtics 1956-1957 "Autograph Album" featuring the blue-ink signatures of all thirteen Celtics players featured in the album: Bob Cousy, Tom Heinsohn, Dick Hemric, Jim Loscutoff, Jack Nichols, Togo Palazzi, Andy Phillip, Frank Ramsey, Arnie Risen, Bill Russell, Bill Sharman, Lou Tsloropoulos, and Red Auerbach. In addition to the Celtic players, the album also includes pages for eleven additional stars in the league, eight of whom have also signed the album: Paul Arizin, Carl Braun, Neil Johnston, Bob Leonard, Ed Macauley, Bob Petit, Dolph Schayes, and Ken Sears. (The three players who have NOT signed the album are Mel Hutchins, Ed Kalafat, and Maurice Stokes.) The signatures are all fairly uniform in grade, averaging 9/10. Each player page features an illustration of the respective player, as well as brief biographical information. The soft-cover album (5x8") displays light wear to the covers, including ink marks on the back cover, and is otherwise in Excellent condition. Accompanied by a second-generation photo (8.5x8"; FR-GD) of Bill Russell slam dunking a ball in practice that has been signed by Russell in blue ink (9/10). Full LOA from PSA.
