1956 Brooklyn Dodgers Tour of Japan "Central League Champions" Team Signed Baseball
This is a signed ball from the Central League Champions, the team that played the Brooklyn Dodgers during their 1956 Tour of Japan. It is a great companion piece to a 1956 Brooklyn Dodgers signed ball. The Dodgers were at the height of their popularity, having won their first World Series Championship in 1955, and this was a goodwill tour to further international relations between the two countries and was wildly heralded at the time. The team-signed ball is overall NRMT and signed in a very Japanese manner.
