1956 Jackie Robinson with Trophies Photograph (PSA Type I)
Original Type I photograph capturing Jackie Robinson at home posing with a first baseman's glove on his hand against the backdrop of his many trophies and awards. As noted in the original United Press Photo paper news caption (dated "12/13/56") affixed to the reverse, it had just been announced that Robinson was traded to the New York Giants, where he was expected to play first base. Robinson retired prior to the 1957 season and therefore never played with the Giants. The photo (7x9") displays light creasing and minor staining along the base. PSA encapsulate as Type I Authentic.
