1956 Pee Wee Reese National League Champions Ring
Handsome 14K gold award was presented to the Brooklyn legend and future HOFer following the Dodgers 1956 pennant victory. No one was more instrumental to the many pennant-winning Dodger teams of that decade than the "Kentucky Colonel," a little man with big heart who despite his regional background made it a point to embrace Jackie Robinson and defuse racial tensions that could have ruined the team's chemistry. At the center is sparkling .5 karat diamond surrounded by raised lettering that reads, "Brooklyn National League Champions 1956". Stamped on back of the face is "Dieges & Clust 10K". Mint condition. Originally obtained from Reese family. This was a presentational cufflink, custom crafted into a ring. Gorgeous remembrance of glorious things past, when "there used to be a ballpark here."
