1957 Jackie Robinson Retires "Meet the Press" Bump Card w/Real Photo

A 1957 Jackie Robinson retires "Meet The Press" bump card. The card features a real photograph of the breakthrough baseball legend. This card was used to promote the upcoming show of "Meet the Press" which would include an interview with the Brooklyn Dodgers icon. The card can be dated by the outfit which Jackie is wearing. The outfit is the same as seen in the famous photo of the star cleaning out his Dodgers locker for the last time. He retired after the 1957 season rather than accepting his trade to the rival New York Giants. The card is stamped on reverse "To Be Used" along with company name and address. The date of 4/14 is written in pencil with "For Promotion Of The Show of" along with company name and address. The date 4/14 is written in pencil which was the Sunday that the show ran. The card is in NM condition. 4x4.75"
