1957 NY Yankees Lineup Card In Casey Stengel's Hand

1957 NY Yankees Lineup Card In Casey Stengel's Hand

Looking a lot like an old library card, this cream-colored lineup was filed out by the Old Perfesser himself, Casey Stengel for the game played on September 14, 1957. The White Sox beat the Yankees at the Stadium that afternoon, 5-2. This was Stengel's ninth season out of 12 at the helm of the Yankees. The card rates VG with some minor creasing but presents much better. The '57 Yanks lost a seven-game World Series to the Milwaukee Braves.
