1957 Topps Mickey Mantle Card Plus One (2 cards total)
1957 Topps card number 95 is none other than Mickey Mantle. 40/60 left to right centering; it is Very Good. Card's back shows stats of Mantle's greatest year, 1956, when he hit 52 home runs and won the Triple Crown in helping the New York Yankees to a World Series win over the Brooklyn Dodgers. Front shows Mantle, in his home pinstripes, following through from a lefty swing. Comes with additional card of Minnie Minoso which is card #138 of the set. Minoso had earlier played in the Negro Leagues. An outfielder, he was most noted for his tenure with the Chicago White Sox. Minoso was a seven-time All-Star and appeared in Major League games in a record five decades and appeared as a professional player in seven decades. Although the last three decades were earned through publicity appearances, he did briefly appear in legitimate regular season games, the last for the St. Paul Siants,an independent league team, when he was 77-years-old. In his one at-bat, Minoso drew a walk. The Minoso card is also Very Good.
