1957 Wilmer "Vinegar Bend" Mizell Game Worn Jersey
Later in life, the man from Vinegar Bend, Alabama would serve as Assistant Secretary under Presidents Ford and Reagan, but back in 1957 he was one of the hottest pitchers in the game, baffling hitters with a powerful left arm. Wonderful embroidered birds and bat logo on chest is joined by the word, "Cardinals." Back has number "17," though this number has been changed. Tail tagging is from "Rawlings Hall of Fame Flannel [size] 48, with chain-stitched "Mizell 57" below. Use is good. These old Cardinals jerseys are the best.
