1958 Boots Hollingsworth Game Worn Cardinals Flannel Jersey
Very nice use on this game-worn jersey from 1958, when Boots Hollingsworth buttoned it up while coaching with the St. Louis Cardinals. He played for many teams in the 30’s and 40’s (particularly with the St. Louis Browns from 1942-46), and spent two years (1957-8) with the Cards. Flannel has billowy Cardinals logo across front, and his name single-threaded in red, “Hollingsworth, 58,” on front left tail, underneath manufacturer’s tag, “Rawlings Hall of Fame Flannel” and size “48.” Two blocked red “3”’s on back, signifying his #33, where numerous spots and grime litter the shoulders and collar. A simply timeless jersey, one that will always be in style.
